Welcome to the Albert E. Jenner, Jr. Memorial Law Library of the University of Illinois College of Law. We are here to support your legal information needs and provide training in the use of legal research tools. All of us in the Jenner Law Library look forward to working with you this year.

Our reference and circulation staffs are ready to assist you in all aspects of legal research and library usage. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance. The Jenner staff in technical services, who acquire, catalog and maintain our large collection of print and electronic resources, are also dedicated to maintaining a library that is up-to-date and easy for you to use.

The Jenner Law Library is a major research facility with over 730,000 volumes and numerous electronic resources in American, foreign and international law. As part of the University of Illinois Library System, we are able to offer you access to one of the world's largest research libraries containing over 10 million volumes here on campus. Through inter-library loan services and access to electronic resources, we can bring you information from around the world.

Anyone needing legal materials is welcome. But because of space limitations, we ask patrons who are not law students and faculty to occupy study areas only when actually using our collection. Given the nature of legal publications and legal research, most of the Jenner Law Library collection does not circulate but remains readily available in open stacks.

This Website introduces you to library staff, services and procedures. It also includes general descriptions of the various collections that make up the Jenner Library, specific call numbers for selected titles and floor plans. Rules for using the library also appear here.
